John ShortÌýhas been a professional actor both in New York and Los Angeles and played Tom Sawyer in the Broadway musical Big River and was nominated for a Drama Desk Award. On the big screen, John can be seen in 17 feature films including Apollo 13 and the recent Christmas With The Kranks. On TV he has appeared on The West Wing, Boston Legal, and ER. As an educator, John was a lecturer at Loyola Marymount University for five years. His recently procured MFA is from Cal State Long Beach. John lives in a menagerie in South Pasadena with his wife, Mary Beth, son, Jake, and daughter, Kira.
